Thank You Delaware Bay invites you to take part in our 2008 Delaware State Fair Exhibt in the DNREC Building from July 17th - 26th. What do we have in store for you?
Visit the TYDB exhibit and sign up to make your own TYDB commerical and say Thanks to the Delaware Bay!
What is your connection to the Bay? Do you like to fish? birdwatch? visit historical places? Do you work on the bay? or like a good crab cake now and then? Well, this is your opportunity to make your own commerical thanking the Delaware Bay. Selected commercials will be featured throughout the year on the TYDB.Org website - yours could be one of them!
Don't forget to pick up an entry form for the TYDB Print Ad drawing contest!
Who can enter? This contest is open to all students ages 6-16. Only one entry per student will be accepted.
What is this Contest? This is a drawing and/or painting contest. Show your appreciation for what the Delaware Bay provides us by drawing or painting an orignial advertisement to "Thank" the Delaware Bay.
Official Contest Rules and Regulations:
- Original ad must be drawn or painted in the frame template. No submissions will be accepted without this frame.
- Only original artwork created with marker, pencil, crayon, and/or colored pencil will be accepted. No computer generated art will be accepted. No submission will be accepted with lamination or protruding pieces.
- The official entry form must be completly filled out and recieved with your entry by August 4, 2008 (No entries will be accepted after this date).
Prizes! 3 Winning Entries will be selected from 3 age brackets (ages 6-8; 9-12; 13-16)
1st: Print ad published in local newspaper and featured on the Thank You Delaware Bay website; Gift Certificate; Horseshoe Crab Pin; 1st Place Award Certificate
2nd: Print ad featured on the Thank You Delaware Bay website; Horseshoe Crab Pin; 2nd Place Award Certificate
3rd: Print ad featured on the Thank You Delaware Bay website; 3rd Place Award Certificate
